Medicare Services That Have Been Expanded For Patients:

  1. If you need Health Care and do not want to leave home, use Telehalth!
    Telehealth is now available for you to get help from doctors and health care providers for office visits, psychotherapy, consultations and several other medical and health services from the comfort and safety of your own home by telephone or online for medically reasonable health issues—not just issues related to the Coronavirus/COVID-19.
    Most telehealth service are the same cost as if you went into the providers office in person and many health coverages (Medicare Supplement plans or Medicare Advantage) plans have waived all extra cost to you. No extra lines, germs, or traveling for you.
  2. Lab test for COVID-19: You pay no out-of-pocket costs.
  3. Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) if you:
    • Have Part A and have days left in your benefit period to use.
    • Had a qualifying hospital stay.
    • May qualify to get renewed SNF coverage without starting a new benefit period.
    • Unable to be in your home or otherwise effected by the pandemic, you can get SNF care without a qualifying hospital stay.
